Brisk Health, a Las Vegas-based startup is set to launch in the spring of 2021. Brisk Health provides mobile onsite healthcare for acute care patients via a mobile app. Brisk Health uses mobile vehicles staffed by acute care clinicians, equipped with a certified lab, medical equipment, medications and IV’s, wi-fi providing access to the health information exchange, and a network of established mobile radiology providers to administer state-of-the-art care in the convenience of the home, office, sports facility or senior care facility.

 

Job Duties

Program Development, Design, and Sustainability

  • Provides ongoing development, design, and sustainability insight into every element of the market-specific Brisk Health delivery model including:
  • Continuous enhancement of evidence-based in-home hospital-level and post-acute care processes, protocols, and improvement strategies in the market
  • Continuous enhancement of partnerships with payer and provider organizations to deliver Brisk Health services in the market
  • Participation in the network of thought leaders in “Hospital at Home” and similar delivery models in the market
  • Building and sustaining a robust clinical team in the market including RNs, APPs, and Physicians
  • Continuously enhancing the quality, safety, and experience improvement portfolio in the market
  • Continuously enhancing a robust and industry-leading remote monitoring program and portfolio in the market
  • Continuously enhancing the clinical supply chain process Brisk Health in the market
  • Developing and sustaining a growth and scaling model at market level
  • Other duties as assigned

Leadership

  • Serves as the clinical leader overseeing the physician, APP, RN and other clinical workforce.
  • Identifies and develops strategic priorities and action steps to support the success of the business in the market
  • Development and continuous enhancement in the development of a true “Learning Organization” that attracts, nurtures, and retains top talent in the market
  • Serve as a strategic partner for market growth strategy of the Brisk Health service line as the model expands
  • Leverages public speaking, writing, education, and leadership skills to represent and promote Brisk Health at market venues
  • A leader with a commitment to act and support others to act in accordance with Brisk Health's company values:

Other Administrative Duties

  • Oversees recruiting and hiring of physicians, APPs, nurses and other relevant team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Clinical Duties

  • Serve initially as the primary care delivery Physician for the Brisk Health team:
  • Will provide direct, hospital-level and post-acute level internal medicine care to patients in their homes. This will include performing clinical assessments, developing and ordering hospital-level and post-acute level internal medicine clinical work-ups, ordering, and documentation
  • Leads the implementation of a multidisciplinary plan of care for patients while working clinically
  • Will provide overnight call coverage as assigned and in collaboration clinical team
  • Clinical duties are expected to phase down considerably as the model is developed and practice needs identified in lieu of leadership/administrative duties ramping up
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Experience as a hospitalist physician
  • Certification/Licensure in good standing in the State of Nevada
  • Hospital Medicine Fellowship (strongly preferred) and/or advanced training/experience in hospital medicine
  • Advanced experience and training in quality improvement, patient safety, and hospital leadership
  • Credentialed
  • History and track record of success in leadership roles
  • Pass pre-employment background check
  • ACLS Certified
